A monumental trouncing with both bat and ball consigned the Badgers to a heavy defeat against Oakhill CC. A multitude of boundaries allowed the Oakhill batsmen to rack up a score of 244/6 before their bowlers tucked into a feast of Badger wickets. Only Lee, who amassed a careful 37 runs, and Hamblin, who blasted a large slice of his 41 runs off just one over, provided any resistance at all. On the bright side, Jinks found some small children to swap stickers with, so it wasn’t a completely wasted day.
